I Stand For Consent

Documentary | 13mins | 2023 | HD

After a survey exposes the extent of harm at her former high school, a filmmaker returns to amplify the student’s call for change and ask a pivotal question: Why is consent education still not compulsory in Aotearoa?

Someday Stories is a series of short films made by emerging young film-makers from Aotearoa New Zealand, that articulate the change and impact on society they want for the future. Someday Stories 7 was made possible by our funders NZ On Air, Te Māngai Pāho and the NZ Film Commission.
